The Right Border — Design, Not a Miscut

**A note on this card's borders, because it looks wrong until you know the design.** The 2026 Series One base design runs a woven "jersey stitching" band with a red zigzag down the **left** border and around the top and bottom tabs — and the **right border is unprinted plain white**. Measured texture energy is 13.8 on the left border against 0.01 on the right. That asymmetry is **intentional**, verified at the top-right corner: the design genuinely has no band on that side. It is not a severe right-side cut. Because the outer border is asymmetric by design, centering was measured against the **rounded-rectangle black keyline frame** around the photo panel, which is geometrically symmetric: **46/54 left-to-right, 58/42 top-to-bottom**. A raw border-width comparison would have been misleading and is not quoted. Verified **base**: no foil, no rainbow rays, no glitter — plain white card stock border with no serial numbering on any edge of either side. 2026 Series One's base set is 1–350 with **no numbered SP block**; short prints exist only as separate variations (Player Number Variations, Rookie 1952 Variation, Golden Mirror).
