Why This Card Matters

Luisangel Acuna came to New York in the July 2023 Max Scherzer trade and, as this card's own back records, hit .938 in the stolen-base success department in 2025 - 16 steals against a single caught stealing, making him the first infielder in franchise history with at least 15 thefts and no more than one caught. He is the younger brother of Ronald Acuna Jr. and signed out of Venezuela in 2018. Donruss is Panini's flagship baseball release and, because it holds no MLB logo license, prints the city name alone on the front - which is why this card reads CHICAGO with no club mark. This is the base card, confirmed by the absence of a PRIZM marker on the back; the Optic, Holo, Orange Velocity, Green /149, Red /250 and Hit List versions are separate cards.
