Why This Card Matters
Strider composited into an actual Bob Ross landscape — tree, stream, sky — under the Joy of Baseball nameplate with the Ross signature at the top. The back carries no statistics at all, only two blurbs. His reads: “Spencer brings joy to the game of Baseball with his elite velocity and ability to rack up strikeouts.” The set’s reads: “Before a pitch is thrown or a bat is swung, every new Baseball game presents endless possibilities. Players, operating as creators in this world, are the artists of the field. They each contribute from a shared palette of hitting, power, speed, fielding, and throwing to create unique masterpieces, which are only complete when the final out is made.” The velocity claim is earned: he is the fastest starting pitcher in major-league history to 500 career strikeouts, reaching it in 334 innings, and he led the National League in wins and strikeouts in 2023. Spencer Strider stands 6'0" and 195 pounds, throws and bats right-handed, and was born 10-28-98 in Columbus, Ohio; home is Knoxville, Tennessee. Atlanta drafted him in the fourth round in June 2020 and he debuted on 10-1-21.

Base — Not a Paint-Colour Parallel, and Not the 2023 Card
The Joy of Baseball names its parallels after Bob Ross’s paints and they sell for ten times the base: Prussian Blue /50, Titanium White /35, Indian Yellow SP /25, Sap Green /75, plus Easel SSP and Paint Splatter /99. This is none of them. Note also that Strider has a card in the 2023 Joy of Baseball release, numbered #35, which intermixes heavily in search results — this is the 2025 #2. There is no CMP security code on this product; the back instead carries a Topps micro-print strip.
