Why This Card Matters
Orelvis Martinez signed with Toronto out of the Dominican Republic in **2018 for $3.5 million** and in **2022 hit 30 home runs at Double-A New Hampshire**, a club record for the level, before reaching the majors on June 21, 2024. This is his rookie card in 2025 Topps Finest, the long-running premium chromium set that gave the hobby the word "refractor" in the first place.

The front is **full-bleed dark chrome with no border**, so centering cannot be measured against a symmetric frame, and the back's design block is not a symmetric reference either — so no reliable centering figure exists for this card, and I am not going to invent one. Corners are sharp at magnification. A high-pass surface check found **no scratches or print lines**. Honest caveat on the edges: a faint two-to-three pixel light line runs along the extreme left and bottom edges, which reads as the normal scanner highlight on a full-bleed dark card rather than chipping — but full-bleed Finest shows edge wear instantly, so handle it accordingly. |

This one is worth explaining, because the card is chromium stock and looks every bit as shiny as a refractor. Topps Finest settles it in print: **the back names the parallel directly under the card number, and this card reads "COMMON."** On a refractor that same slot reads "REFRACTOR." So this is the chromium base card — no guesswork, no tilt test needed. It is unnumbered, and the RC shield sits at the lower left of the front. 2025 Finest backs carry no CODE#CMP.
