Why This Card Matters

George Springer was the **2017 World Series MVP** with Houston, homering **five times in that series** to tie the all-time record while also setting World Series records with eight extra-base hits and 29 total bases. He signed with Toronto in January 2021 on a **six-year, $150 million contract** — the largest in Blue Jays history at the time, passing Vernon Wells. A **four-time All-Star**, he hit **.309 with 32 home runs and a .959 OPS in 2025**, finishing seventh in AL MVP voting and taking a Silver Slugger as Toronto won the **American League pennant**. He passed **300 career home runs** in June 2026. This is his card in 2025 Topps Finest, #141 — which places it in the set's **Uncommon tier**, deliberately scarcer than the Common tier.

Attributes Parallel: Base, Subset: Uncommon Tier, Raw / ungraded
Condition Raw / ungraded. Near Mint or better unless noted. Please review the front and back scans — they show the exact card you will receive, including centering, corners, edges and surface. **Centering cannot be measured on the front and I am not going to estimate it.** The Finest front is **full-bleed** — the halftone-dot design runs to all four trimmed edges, verified at 3x on all four corners. For what it is worth, the back's three inset horizontal rules give **48/52 left-to-right**; the back's black bars are also full-bleed vertically, so there is no valid top-to-bottom reference on either side. Corners are sharp. There is light white flecking along the top and bottom chrome edges — minor edge silvering, typical of chromium stock. The surface is clean with no resolvable scratches. One framing note: the card sits high in the scan, with only 34 px of background above against 98 px below. Nothing is cut off — the whole card is in frame — but the top margin is tighter than the rest of this batch.

Scarcity Tier & Parallel Note

**2025 Topps Finest uses a tiered base set, and this card is in the middle tier.** The base run is split **Common #1-100 / Uncommon #101-200 / Rare #201-300**, each tier progressively scarcer and each with its own design treatment. At **#141 this is an Uncommon**, and the back **prints the word UNCOMMON** beneath the card number. Pull rates for Uncommon are roughly half those of Common. It is not an "SP" in Topps' vocabulary — Finest has no SP tier — but it is meaningfully scarcer than a common base card, and the comps reflect that. This is the **base (non-Refractor)** version of that Uncommon: saturation-boosted inspection of the halftone-dot fields shows neutral grey and white dots with **no prismatic banding**, and the orange and teal streaks are printed design elements rather than diffraction. Finest Refractors for the Uncommon tier fall about 1:24 packs. **Not serial numbered**, verified on all four edges of both sides. This product prints **no CODE# line** — verified at 2x across the full copyright block, so its absence is not a missing detail.
