Panini Prospect Edition is **unlicensed for MLB**, so the card reads **TORONTO** with no Blue Jays logos or wordmarks — how the product is printed, not a defect. This is the **base** card, and the parallel ladder was ruled out one tier at a time. Every numbered parallel — Red /299, Blue /199, Bronze /199, Purple /99, Stub /99, Pink /49, Teal /49, Holo Silver /25, Gold /10, Platinum 1/1 — is excluded because **there is no serial anywhere**, verified on the front and back bottom strips at magnification plus all four edges of both sides. The unnumbered **Green** is excluded because the accents here are navy blue (the team colour), not green. The unnumbered **Holo/foil** is excluded because at 4x the stock is plain matte white with visible CMYK rosettes and no holographic or foil layer anywhere. No RC shield: Panini cannot use the MLB rookie logo, and this is a prospect card regardless. Panini prints no CODE# line.
