Ricky Tiedemann was Toronto's **third-round pick, 91st overall, in the 2021 draft** out of Golden West College, signing below slot for $644,800 after going unpicked in the shortened 2020 draft. He then struck out **117 batters in 78.2 innings across three levels in 2022** — 13.4 per nine — with a 2.17 ERA, and was named the Blue Jays' Minor League Pitcher of the Year. He peaked at **No. 26 on MLB Pipeline's Top 100** and was **Baseball America's top left-handed pitching prospect entering 2024** before Tommy John surgery that July interrupted the climb. Please review the front and back scans — they show the exact card you will receive, including centering, corners, edges and surface. **Centering cannot be measured on this card and I am not going to estimate it.** Both sides are full-bleed with an asymmetric angled-panel design — there is no symmetric border or frame anywhere to measure against. Corners are sharp on inspection at 5x. Edges are straight and clean with no chrome chipping. The surface carries scattered tiny white specks in the foil; on chromium a flatbed cannot separate dust from genuine flecking, so treat them as possible light surface marking rather than assuming they wipe off. No scratches or creases found. One framing note: this scan is **tight** — the background margin is only 16-31 px (0.03-0.05 in) on the four sides, against the 65-75 px typical elsewhere in this batch. The whole card is in frame, but barely. Ask and I will send a wider photo. |

That is how the product is printed, not a defect or a counterfeit indicator. This is the **base, non-Prizm** card. The evidence is direct: at 8x on two flat foil areas the surface shows a plain halftone dot screen on chromium stock with **no diffraction, no cross-hatch and no scale pattern** — which rules out Silver Prizm and every coloured Prizm parallel. No colour border, no foil parallel branding, no serial. **Not serial numbered**, verified on all four edges of both sides. No RC shield — Panini's MLBPA-only licence precludes it, and Tiedemann has not made his major-league debut in any case. Panini prints no CODE# line.
