Arjun Nimmala was Toronto's **first-round pick, 20th overall, in the 2023 draft** out of Strawberry Crest High School in Florida, signing for $3 million at age 17 — and he remains the highest-drafted first-generation Indian-American player in the history of the MLB Draft. He has since climbed to **No. 2 in the Blue Jays system and No. 44 on MLB Pipeline's Top 100** as of July 2026, hitting **.270 with a .801 OPS** in his first stretch at Double-A New Hampshire while still only 20 years old — roughly four years younger than the average Eastern League hitter. There is no matching pair of features to measure. Corners are sharp and square with no whitening, edges are clean, and the surface is clean with no print lines. |
