Why This Card Matters
Charles McAdoo was a **13th-round pick by Pittsburgh in 2023 out of San Jose State**, came to Toronto in the July 2024 Isiah Kiner-Falefa trade, and hit **.315 with 14 home runs and a .394 on-base percentage across 2024**. He reached the majors on May 28, 2026, the first San Jose State player in the big leagues since Kevin Frandsen. This is his **1st Bowman Chrome** card — the chrome version, which is the one prospect collectors chase over the paper.

| Condition | Raw / ungraded. Near Mint or better unless noted. Please review the front and back scans — they show the exact card you will receive, including centering, corners, edges and surface. Centering measures about **46/54 left-to-right** off the silver frame rule. Top-to-bottom is not measurable — the swoosh bleeds to the bottom edge, leaving no symmetric reference. Corners are sharp. **The one real flaw: light edge whitening and roughness along the top edge**, visible as a frosted ragged line against the dark border. It is typical chrome cut-edge silvering and minor, but it is there and a grader would see it. The other three edges are clean and the surface is clean under high-pass inspection. |

Base Chrome, Not a Refractor
Called as **base chrome, non-refractor**, on two pieces of evidence: under magnification with saturation and brightness boosted, the surface shows a neutral dark-grey chrome field with no prismatic rainbow banding in either the black background or the white uniform, and the back prints **no parallel word** beneath the set stamp — which is where Bowman Chrome names its refractors. Being straight with you about the limit of that: a flatbed scan flattens refractor sheen, so this is a high-confidence call rather than a certainty. Unnumbered, verified on all four edges of both sides. No RC shield, correctly. Back code CMP100416.
