How to Spot It: the RC Logo Prints Solid Red

The identifier is small but unambiguous. On the standard card the RC shield and MLB batter plate print in navy and red; on this variation both print solid red with white knockouts. That is the whole tell — verified here by direct comparison against a standard navy RC logo. This is Topps’ Bowman Red RC short-print variation. Be aware sellers describe it half a dozen ways — “Red Rookie Logo”, “Red Rookie Redemption”, “SP Rookie Red RC Variation”, “Red Logo Refractor” — all the same card.
