Shinichi Ohnuki was Yokohama's third-round pick in the 2018 NPB draft and made his NPB debut on April 4, 2019. In 2024 he worked 88 1/3 innings across 15 games, going 6-7 with a 2.85 ERA for a BayStars club that went on to win the Japan Series.
