Kojiro Yoshimura was Yakult's uncontested first-round pick in the 2022 draft, signed out of the Toshiba corporate team after Kokugakuin University. In 2024, the season on this card, he set career highs with 9 wins, a 3.19 ERA and 114 strikeouts, threw his first complete-game shutout against the Giants that September, and won the Central League Monthly MVP for September and October. His fastball has been clocked at 154 km/h. This is his base card in the 2024 Topps 206 NPB checklist.
