Why This Card Matters
Arjun Nimmala was Toronto's **first-round pick, 20th overall, in the 2023 draft** out of Strawberry Crest High School in Florida, signing for $3 million at age 17 — and he remains the highest-drafted first-generation Indian-American player in the history of the MLB Draft. He has since climbed to **No. 2 in the Blue Jays system and No. 44 on MLB Pipeline's Top 100** as of July 2026, hitting **.270 with a .801 OPS** in his first stretch at Double-A New Hampshire while still only 20 years old — roughly four years younger than the average Eastern League hitter.
