Why This Card Matters
Yusei Kikuchi spent eight seasons with the Saitama Seibu Lions in Japan before Seattle signed him in January 2019, and Toronto brought him in on a three-year deal in March 2022. His best Blue Jays season came in 2023, when he went 11-6 with a 3.86 ERA and 181 strikeouts across 167.2 innings. Update Series exists to capture players in their new uniforms, which makes #USC173 his first Toronto card on Chrome stock.

Honest note on the chrome surface: fine hairline scratches and scuffs are visible across the dark upper background and the right side, with a few light dust specks. Corners are reasonably sharp with light chrome silvering at the tips. Centering runs about 55/45 left-to-right and close to 50/50 top-to-bottom. The back is clean and bright. |

The back reads **USC173 / CHROME** with no parallel line beneath it, which is how the base card is separated from the Refractor in this product.
