Why This Card Matters
This is the Rainbow Foil parallel of Brad Peacock's 2020 Topps Update card. The back records something genuinely unusual: he is one of only four pitchers, and the first since 1924, to finish a postseason game and then start the next day, and it notes his clean ninth inning in Game 5 of the 2019 ALCS. His eight-year totals read 178 games, 552.1 innings, 584 strikeouts and a 3.99 ERA, with a 2019 Astros line of 23 games, 91.2 innings and 96 strikeouts. A Nationals 41st-round pick in June 2006.

| Condition | Raw / Ungraded — The front is printed on mirrored foil board with a cool teal and blue-green metallic cast across the left design panel, shifting through a magenta-to-red band in the upper background and grading into green toward the right edge. Corners are sharp on all four with no whitening, which is worth noting because foil stock shows corner wear as a bright white flash. Front surface is clean and unscratched. The BACK, however, has visible grey smudging - a diffuse dark smear across the middle-right of the stat table plus scattered specks. Front full-bleed, so centering cannot be measured from a scan. |
