Cal Ripken Jr. (8) and media members in a 2001 All Star Game personal snapshot Type 1 photo from All-Star Game pre-game day image.  Comes with original negative.
Game was held in Seattle and Cal Ripken and Alex Rodriguez were All-Star's.  Photo measures 4"x6".  This was taken by Houston Astros executive and staff member Gene Pemberton as he accompanied his Astros players to the game.  Dated on back 7-10-01 (Game Day) with details of image on front.  Features Cal with famous "8" showing as he discusses topics with media.
Famous moment happens in this game when A-Rod moves Ripken over to play short-stop in Rodgriguez's place as he was elected at 3B.  Awesome moment of respect towards Cal Ripken and the game of baseball.
